비성직자 특별이민
H.R. 5305에 따라, 비성직자 특별이민은 2021년 12월 3일자로 일시중단되게 된다. 따라서, 해외주제 영사관에서 이민비자 수속을 하여 입국하는 비성직자 특별이민자들은 2021년 12월 2일 자정까지 반드시 입국을 해야한다.
Employment Fourth Preference Certain Religious Workers (SR):
Pursuant to H.R.5305 – Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act, the non-minister special immigrant program expires on December 3, 2021. No SR visas may be issued overseas, or final action taken on adjustment of status cases, after midnight December 2, 2021. Visas issued prior to this date will only be issued with a validity date of December 2, 2021 and all individuals seeking admission as a non-minister special immigrant must be admitted (repeat, admitted) into the U.S. no later than midnight December 2, 2021.
가족이민
가족이민 2순위, 영주권자의 배우자와 미성년 자녀를 제외하고는 문호 동결.
국무부 비자과는 지난 9월 시민권자의 직계 가족 (배우자, 미성년 자녀, 부모)을 우선적으로 처리를 할 것이며, 이외의 가족이민 문호는 2022년 6월까지 계속 동결될 예정이라고 밝힌 바 있다.
No Family-Based movement until June 2022
Immediate Relative visas remain a priority, even with the order that State expeditiously process DV cases. Retrogression may be possible if posts return to normal and issuance rates rapidly increase. However, if issuance rates decline, then the dates will continue to advance, but slowly.
